Brand Strategy, UX Design, Conversion Strategy and Functional Prototyping
Repositioning a Miami Cleaning Company Into a Premium, Dynamic Service Brand Built for Easier Booking
STRIDE Cleaning Group is an independent, launch-ready redesign concept for a Miami cleaning business serving residential and commercial customers. I repositioned the company around consistent service, flexible scheduling, clearer service decisions, and faster pricing, then designed a customer experience that helps visitors choose the right service, receive a quote, book the next step, and evaluate the company's credibility before reaching out.
The project combines competitive research, brand strategy, audience segmentation, conversion-focused copywriting, UX and UI direction, service architecture, bilingual interaction design, quote and booking logic, commercial workflows, trust systems, launch planning, and performance measurement.

Tools and Build Approach
Base44, AI-assisted application development, conversion strategy, UX architecture, responsive interface planning, custom interaction logic, structured content systems, functional prototyping, and GitHub-ready code workflow. The final interface and application logic were directed through informed strategic input, iterative prompting, testing, copy development, UX decisions, and functional specifications.
Transparency
This project was developed independently as a portfolio redesign concept. The brand, website, customer journeys, and functional systems were designed as a launch-ready prototype that could support an operating cleaning business after replacing sample content with verified business data, connecting live integrations, and completing final legal, accessibility, security, and production testing.

Published Functional Prototype. English and Spanish experience available across the full website.
A Cleaning Website Designed to Do More Than Collect a Lead
The redesign gives customers useful information and a practical next step before asking them to wait for a callback.
Modernize a broad cleaning-service business while making its audiences, service options, pricing process, and quality promise easier to understand.
Build a more differentiated Miami cleaning brand around consistent service, flexible scheduling, faster quote access, and reduced operational friction.
Help visitors identify the right service, understand realistic pricing, evaluate the process, and choose a practical next step without unnecessary back-and-forth.
A conversion-focused website and functional prototype combining reviews, audience-specific service paths, instant quotes, booking, commercial walkthroughs, gift cards, bilingual support, maps, pricing guidance, and clear follow-up options.
The website does not only ask for a lead. It gives the visitor something useful before requesting contact information.
A Broad Service Offering That Needed a Clearer Customer Journey
The original business already had real strengths. The opportunity was not to fix something broken. It was to help each customer understand whether the company fits their situation, what the service process looks like, and what action to take next.
What the Business Already Had
- A wide service catalog
- Residential and commercial capability
- Strong customer reputation
- A visible Google presence
- Social activity
- A broad South Florida market
- Growth potential
Strategic Limitations to Address
- Residential and commercial customers were not clearly separated
- The broad service catalog needed stronger hierarchy
- The quote and booking journey needed greater clarity
- Commercial customers needed a more professional account pathway
- Reviews and trust signals needed to appear earlier
- Pricing guidance was limited
- Gift cards and additional customer actions were not presented as complete product experiences
- The brand needed to feel scalable across homes, properties, events, and facilities
- The navigation and page architecture needed to support more audience-specific routes
The opportunity was not simply to make the website look more polished. It was to help each customer understand whether the company fits their situation, what the service process looks like, and what action to take next.
Before and After: Desktop Comparison

A broad service catalog and a single quote pathway. Reviews, pricing context, and audience separation were limited in the first impression.

Researching the Friction Behind the Cleaning-Service Decision
The strategy was informed by Miami competitor analysis, residential and commercial customer concerns, Airbnb and short-term-rental needs, property-management needs, event and post-construction workflows, pricing transparency concerns, trust and communication concerns, and local Miami property and scheduling conditions.
Clean And GO Team
181 reviews, verified screenshot
The Google reputation shown belongs to the established Clean And GO Team business. The STRIDE prototype demonstrates how verified reputation signals could be integrated after an approved rebrand and Google Business Profile migration.
The supplied screenshot shows a Sponsored listing. This card describes an established Google reputation and visible search presence. It does not claim an organic ranking position.
The Honeymoon Dip
Customers repeatedly describe services that perform well during the first few visits, then become less consistent over time.
Strategic response
Position documented quality and consistency as a central brand promise rather than using another generic reliability claim.
Quote and Callback Friction
Customers often wait for callbacks or receive pricing that changes after the initial conversation.
Strategic response
Build a guided quote experience that collects the necessary details upfront and gives eligible residential visitors immediate pricing.
Generic Category Language
Many competitors use the same words, including trusted, professional, reliable, quality, and spotless.
Strategic response
Use concrete processes, service paths, pricing logic, walkthroughs, maps, digital checklists, and completion documentation instead of relying on adjectives.
Different Audiences Need Different Reassurance
A homeowner, facility manager, Airbnb operator, property manager, and event coordinator do not evaluate cleaning companies in the same way.
Strategic response
Create dedicated paths and pages for each high-value audience.
Miami-Specific Operational Needs
Miami customers may need condo access coordination, vacation-rental turnovers, event support, bilingual communication, humidity-aware care, and broader South Florida service coverage.
Strategic response
Design the experience around the realities of the local market rather than using generic national cleaning copy.
Emotional Friction
Some residential customers feel overwhelmed, embarrassed, or guilty about hiring help.
Strategic response
Use nonjudgmental, practical language centered on relief, time, and control.
STRIDE should not compete by only listing more cleaning services. The redesign should make the company easier to evaluate, easier to trust, and easier to hire.
From Clean & Go Team to STRIDE Cleaning Group
The name STRIDE feels more scalable, organized, active, and suitable for both residential and commercial accounts. "Cleaning Group" broadens the perception beyond a small residential crew while remaining clear and approachable.
STRIDE helps Miami and South Florida customers schedule dependable residential and commercial cleaning with clearer service choices, flexible timing, and an easier path from quote to completed service.
The Explorer-Inspired Direction
The archetype influenced movement, adaptability, freedom from cleaning hassles, readiness, flexibility, progress, and broad service capability. The direction avoids travel, mountains, compasses, and adventure cliches. STRIDE reads as forward-moving and organized rather than themed or decorative.
Refining the Visual Direction
The project initially explored a darker, premium brand system, then evolved into a cleaner and more open final design. The final system uses predominantly white and soft-gray backgrounds, dark-neutral typography, blue reserved for interaction and trust, green reserved for availability and success, unified icons, controlled corner rounding, and modern sans-serif typography.
The result is less visual noise, stronger corporate credibility, and better readability across a large service architecture.

Copy Strategy
Cleaning Services in Miami, Without the Typical Hassles.
Guaranteed Consistency. Flexible Scheduling. Instant Quotes.
Why This Copy
- It provides local and category clarity
- It promises relief from common frustrations
- "Typical hassles" includes callbacks, inconsistent quality, quote delays, scheduling problems, and communication gaps
- The trust line combines quality, convenience, and conversion functionality
- The positioning does not depend on being the cheapest provider
Consistency Strategy
The redesign addresses the "honeymoon dip," where service begins strongly and becomes less consistent over time. STRIDE's promise is not simply a strong first visit. It is a documented standard across repeat service.
Use
- Clear descriptions of what happens next
- Consistency
- Flexible scheduling
- Quote speed
- Audience-specific language
- Direct action labels
- Friendly, practical language
- Short sentences
- Specific service outcomes
Avoid
- Cheap or bargain positioning
- Generic Learn More buttons
- One message for every customer
- Overly playful cleaning language
- Unsupported superlatives
- Long crowded sentences
- One coordinated team
- Two paths, one team
Turning Service Interest Into a Useful Next Step
The conversion system is built around giving the visitor something useful before requesting contact information. Each function reduces uncertainty for the customer while improving the quality of information the business receives.
Supporting Conversion Experiences
Pricing Transparency
The pricing page shows typical range examples, one-time and recurring structures, and residential versus commercial pricing logic. Each example lists what is included and what affects the total, so visitors can budget before contacting the company.
- Typical range cards with included services
- One-time and recurring pricing structures
- Variables that affect the final price
- Get My Quote continuation into the estimate tool

Launch, Security, and Measurement
Because the STRIDE experience includes customer accounts, bookings, payments, gift cards, and uploaded information, security cannot be treated as a final technical detail. It must be considered during the design of forms, permissions, account access, storage, and administrative workflows.
Access Control
- Separate customer, staff, manager, and administrator permissions
- Row-level permissions
- Restricted access to submissions, estimates, bookings, and files
- Staff permission reviews
- Immediate removal of inactive user access
Form Protection
- Server-side validation
- Spam controls
- Rate limiting
- Safe input handling
- Clear error states
Uploads
- Restrict file types and sizes
- Private storage where appropriate
- Defined retention policies
Payments and Gift Cards
- Established payment providers
- No complete card information stored inside the application
- Restricted financial-record permissions
- Transaction and administrative audit records
Authentication
- Secure authentication
- Email verification
- Strong passwords
- Multi-factor authentication where supported
Security Review
- Full review before launch
- Monthly scans
- Additional scans after major integrations or functionality changes
Permission Review
- Quarterly staff access reviews
- Prompt removal of inactive permissions
Backups and Recovery
- Documented backup procedures
- Restore procedures
- Incident response
- Integration-recovery procedures

Extending the Website Into a Connected Marketing System
The website establishes STRIDE's positioning, service architecture, conversion paths, and customer-data foundation. Additional projects will extend the same strategy across acquisition, follow-up, retention, content, and measurement.
Each roadmap module is a compact expandable card now and can become a full project module as the work is completed, without changing the main page route.
Designing the Website as a Business System
The project began as a cleaning-company redesign. The strongest opportunity was not visual styling alone. The project became a connected system for service discovery, pricing, trust, booking, commercial qualification, bilingual access, and measurement.
Customer problems shaped the brand and functionality. The redesign demonstrates how a service website can create value before staff follow-up. Operational and measurement planning were treated as part of the customer experience rather than as separate technical concerns.
The result is more than a redesigned website. It is a launch-ready foundation for how STRIDE could acquire customers, qualify service needs, communicate value, manage ongoing relationships, and measure marketing performance.

Each tangible deliverable links to the live route, its location inside the Website Explorer, or a future interactive HTML project when one becomes available.
